We’re also delighted to introduce Sue, who now comes every Monday to lend a hand at The Sanctuary. Sue has a calming influence with the animals, and has even won over Snow – our cantankerous cockatoo who rarely climbs onto anyone other than Michael or myself. Sue comes each week to help us, rain or shine, and never shirks away from the dirty or difficult jobs that are part and parcel of running an animal refuge. With Sue helping on Mondays and our long-time volunteer Georgie coming on Wednesdays, we’re very very fortunate to have such dependable and generous supporters. We couldn’t manage all on our own, and we really appreciate our wonderful volunteers!!
