Angel Has A New Home

Recently we were asked to help find a home for a beautiful miniature horse named Angel on very short notice. This photo shows you how tiny Angel is, as she gets a bath on the step of a deck! Sometimes people find themselves in circumstances where they can no longer keep their animal companions, even though they love them. When they call us for help, we can’t always take the animal here at The Sanctuary if we’re full. Then we try to find an alternative home. Angel has health problems, so I worried that it would be particularly difficult to place her. However, we were very lucky this time, as a wonderful lady named Suzanne who agreed to take Angel for the rest of her life, and provide the medical care she needs. Angel will now live with 2 other rescued miniature horses and a foal, plus a loving human family. Don’t you just love a happy ending?
