From A Good Friend:
August 2, 2011
I have 10 days before I leave the country and want to give this sweet dog that I am fostering one last chance at rehoming as she has been through so much. Porsche was given to a mentally disabled man by the IHC for his entertainment but he was unable to care for her. Porsche’s collar had to be surgically removed as it became imbedded in her skin as she grew. She has been twice rescued off death row in dog pounds and will sadly have to go back there if I can’t rehome her this week. She is young and still needs training, but is already very willing to please and is walking nicely on a Halti. Porsche is well behaved and gentle with people, and loves other friendly dogs. She is not destructive or noisy when left alone. She would suit a suburban home rather than a lifestyle block or farm. PLEASE contact Rosalind on 09-422-9927 or words@skyhouse.co.nz Pass this on to anyone else who might be able to help with a good home or even fostering.
