When SAFE launched voteanimals.org.nz recently, they used photos of animals living here at The Sanctuary as their ‘political candidates’. It’s quite funny to see the beloved faces we know so well appear on billboards, websites and posters – and wearing clothes!! Sparky had a close look at the poster that shows him in suit and tie (pictured). The voteanimals.org.nz site outlines the policies the different parties have regarding animals and animal welfare. Please visit it to inform your voting decisions in the upcoming election. From the main page, click on ‘Candidates’ to see more photos of our darlings, and to see what issues they represent. I wonder if our animals are going to want Celebrity Treatment now that their faces are so famous!!
