Seeing Eye Kitten & Blind Sister Need Home In The USA
July 6, 2011
The two frail kittens that Michael and I rescued while on holiday are now thriving at the wonderful Grand Bahama Humane Society. The smaller one, Fortune, has a rare congenital eye condition called Coloboma. She is blind in her left eye, and has just a little vision in her right. The other kitten, Lucky, acts as a seeing-eye cat for her blind sister. Fortune follows Lucky everywhere. That’s why it’s really important to find a loving home that will adopt them both together. (It’s always best to have 2 kittens for company, anyway!) The Human Society is hoping to find a particularly wonderful home for these 2 kittens in the United States. PLEASE share this story with all your friends in the USA, and help us to find a special home for these precious girls. If we spread this story, I know the right person will read it. You can phone The Grand Bahama Humane Society on (242) 352-2477; email the Shelter Director Tip Burrows on tjburrows7@gmail.com, or the Humane Society general email at info@hs-gb.org See more about the kittens on their Facebook page:
